Iron Man Background
The Iron Man Action Figure was included in the first Marvel Legends Action Figures Collection and has been brought back into many of the subsquent Marvel Legends Action Figure Sets. Here is some Iron Man Background…
Iron Man is a superhero from comicbooks put out by Marvel Comics. The character initialyl came out in the early sixties. He was dreamt up by writer and editor Stan Lee, artists Don Heck & Jack Kirby, scripter Larry Lieber.
Brought into this world as Anthony Edward Stark, he’s an industrialist man-about-town and whiz engineer who endures a serious heart trauma during an abduction and is forced to construct a harmful weapon to get away. He alternatively makes a powered body armor to preserve his life and get out of imprisonment. He later chooses to utilise the suit of armor to defend the human race as Iron Man. With his international corporation called Stark Industries, he produced military arms and his own armor suit is loaded with technical gizmos that allow him to battle crime. At first, Iron Man was a way for Stan Lee to write about Cold War subjects, especially the function of U.S. technology & business enterprise in the battle against communism. Later versions of Iron Man have slowly took away the Cold War theme and replaced them with more present-day interests like corporate crime or terrorism.
Throughout virtually all of the superheroes past, Iron Man was in the super hero group called the Avengers, he’s been a large part of the Marvel Legends Action Figures line, and he’s starred in various comic book series. Iron Man was adapted for numerous animated television shows and motion pictures.
Iron Man’s story began when he was born to Howard and Maria Stark. Anthony Edward Stark, or more commonly called Tony, was born with super high intelligence. At fifteen Stark got into the undergrad electrical engineering curriculum at the M.I.T. where Tony graduated top of his class. After his mother and father were killed in an auto accident, he inherited Stark Enterprises at the twenty-one.
While Anthony Stark boosts a wealthy, playboy image, his life is not at all perfect. His heaviest personal trouble is his long struggle with alcohol addiction. Additional troubles are his losing of companies via takeover, and multiple other business-related problems like bankruptcy. His heaviest decline left Tony without a home. Subsequently he passed the Iron Man identity to his friend Rhodes. However Iron Man has always bouned back. He shortly originated a fresh company called Circuits Maximus, and quickly came back as Iron Man. When Stark International’s CEO Obadiah Stane attempted to take over Tony’s new company, Tony struck back and repossessed his company.
Meanwhile, Stark’s medical condition was in fast decay. Even subsequent to his heart transplant, Stark still had medical problems. His armored suit’s cybernetic interface made his nervous system break down. It became dangerous enough that he had to falsify his own dying and get in suspended animation in order to survive. This is when Rhodes assumed the Iron Man identity again. Only now he fitted himself with a brand-new armour made by Tony titled the “Variable Threat Response Battle Suit”. This suite was subsequently called the War Machine armor. After Stark wakened Rhodes was so angered by the deceit that he forgot Tony and made the War Machine its own identity.
Iron Man was played by Robert Downey Junior. in the Iron Man live action movie. I loved the Iron Man movie. I saw it twice. After the first time, I knew I had to have the Iron Man Action Figure that was released in the likeness of the movie. Iron Man has been a favorite of mine in the Marvel World, and I added this new Movie verison of Iron Man to my growing Marvel Legends Action Figures collection.
